Hecks History |
|
|
Although Hecks Direct Mail & Printing Service is a good-sized company today, it does
have meager beginnings. |
Hecks started as a mailing service in 1943 by Edith Heck out of her and her
husband's Oregon, Ohio garage. As Oregon's and Toledo's businesses grew - Hecks grew. Soon it became a
full-family affair and Edith's husband, Frank, quit his job and joined the
thriving company. |
 |
Hecks grew at a steady rate and added printing and material fulfillment to
compliment the mailing services. Hecks outgrew the garage and moved to a
beautiful building on Main Street in Toledo. Eventually, the Heck family bought
out Dana Corporation's "Diamond Printing" for more of the printing and
fulfillment market. The lease and eventual purchase of a 80,000 sq.ft. warehouse
on Florence Avenue has also expanded Hecks' capabilities. Hecks continued to
offer their complete business services - to Dana as well as many other
businesses - for decades to follow. |
 |
|
The Main Street building recently underwent renovations to bring back the striking facade,
and the tradition of quality still continues with Michelle and Matt Heck. |
|
Know that when dealing with Hecks - you are dealing with a history of pride in
Toledo and of our business. We value all of our customers - the new ones and the
decades-long ones. |
